Leadership and Oversight

A previous senior officer of the the nation's space operations center will report back next month on how the state-backed organization can best support the scope of official artificial intelligence goals in national security, national security and intelligence.

Operational Restructuring

The institute's chair, a ex-Amazon UK executive, confirmed that multiple research initiatives at the center employing hundreds have been terminated, spun out or completed because they do not align with the fresh focus.

Organizational Difficulties

The institute has faced workplace difficulties since last year as workers demonstrated against changes, culminating in a group of employees filing a whistleblower complaint to the appropriate oversight organization.
