The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Ex two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Still, the novice continues to be one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the customary stare-down, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
