Vince Zampella, Dies in a California Car Crash
The co-creator of Call of Duty, the mind behind the immensely successful video game Call of Duty, has tragically died in a car accident in Los Angeles, California he was 55 years old.
The tragic news was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the video game company that he helped create.
The celebrated industry figure died after his car crashed and caught fire on a freeway in Los Angeles on this past Sunday, US media outlets report.
"We are facing an unimaginable loss, and our deepest sympathies go to his family and friends, his family, and everyone impacted by his legacy," a representative from Electronic Arts said.
